We reside in Derplahoma, where 25% of cars on the road are uninsured. Our insurance covered the damages and then sought to go after the deadbeats to recover something. As far as I know, they actually recovered exactly $0.

i like some of the older cars 

makes me smile

takes me back to the good old days of eight tracks and...

then i snap out of it and thank Cthulhu that my a/c works, gas mileage is decent and my sh*t isn't breaking down

edit: there several clubs here for old rides and barely street legal hot rods they'll meet in a strip mall parking lot after hours, raise their hoods and show off the goods

Gah.  We finally got rid of P's wreck-magnet Mazda. Hit five times in four years; four of the asshats were uninsured.

It's shaping up to be a rough winter for us. 10" of snow Friday into Saturday and 40+ mph winds Sunday and Monday. Full-on bumper cars. I'm just very much hoping that Thing 2's truck damage ends up being the last of our vehicular mayhem for a while. Almost $4000 in damage estimated. Yay.
