Just a thought... in another Forum I'm a member of, a "Dog House" forum was added for members who want to talk about "slightly controversial subjects" like politics and religion - perhaps you could do that, too? And one where members introduce themselves - it's nice to know who are talking to. :)
It would also be nice to see how many is online at a given time and where in the world members come from/live.
Anyone who would give out their name and location in an online forum is a damn fool! If you only give your name and City/State/Country, and perhaps a few interests, I don't see the problem. In any case, this Forum is for music.
There are plenty of controversial topics threads here, mostly civil. You'll pick up the names of the players as you go, or if you want to PM them for what they are comfortable sharing, do that. I used to try to keep real names associated with RP names and for the most part, I have, but I confess that there are some I used to know but now I just revert to the screen names. It's safer. I guess it's just a little confusing since I'm new here, but I'll get the hang of it. ;)
