Especially if the house and the senate are in his back pocket after midterms. Make no mistake about it. This guy is dangerous.

I just read a New Yorker article that suggests, with mounting evidence, the Trump Organization's business model is fraud. Not real estate or casinos or even branding, but good old-fashioned fraud. I know you are shocked. c.

Trump subverts our democracy with his lies
President Trumpâs constant, relentless, remorseless lying is a central feature of his presidency, an unprecedented threat to our democracy and â in my view â an impeachable offense.
I realize it does not qualify as news that Trump lies all the time. I also realize it is not always possible to draw a bright line between untruths Trump knows are untrue and conspiratorial nonsense he might foolishly believe. But never before have we had a leader who so pollutes the national discourse with garbage that he at least ought to know is false â and I fear the consequences will be with us long after Trump is gone.
At his inauguration, Trump swore to âfaithfully execute the office of president.â He violates that oath when he speaks to the nation in bad faith. Other presidents have lied â Lyndon B. Johnson about Vietnam, Richard M. Nixon about Watergate, Bill Clinton about Monica Lewinsky. But never have we had a president who lies about everything , who invents his own fake facts, who continues to trumpet patent falsehoods even when confronted with the actual facts.
And yes, undisputed facts do exist and can be ascertained. I am not talking about subtle matters of interpretation; Iâm taking about knowing falsehoods, commonly known as lies. (...)

Direct involvement of the president and his son in this yearâs effort to silence Ms. Clifford hasnât previously been reported. The accounts of that effort recently provided to The Wall Street Journal suggest that the presidentâs ties to his company continued into this year and contradict public statements made at the time by the Trump Organization, the White House and Mr. Cohen.

YES. Thank you. Tell us, kurtster: who outside of Trump (On-the-Highway-to-Hell HuckaSanders) talks about Trump being a genius? Seems like everyone in the White House and Congress thinks he's a goddamned idjit.
Blame Obama for what exactly ? I said ... I gave up with Obama after he said "you can keep your doctor" ...

pigtail wrote: You could have with Obama's original plan. Too bad he had to completely bastardize it to get it through the senate. Now we have none and your idiot president thought that would be such an easy fix. DUH healthcare is hard were his words if I'm not mistaken. Quit blaming Obama for your president's shortcomings and failures. It gets so tiresome. Obama is not in power any more and trying to live up to all his successes is an epic Trump fail no matter what spin y'all put on it.
"healthcare is hard were his words if I'm not mistaken"
You're close: 'Nobody knew healthcare could be so complicated.'To which Stephen Colbert responded: " Everybody knew health care could be so complicated!!!" "Quit blaming Obama for your president's shortcomings and failures. It gets so tiresome."
