i understand, but i did see something that i don't quite understand (from the article)
The name âJose Rodriguezâ appeared on about 700 ballots, indicating that this person helped fill them out. Andy Chatham, who was the assistant district attorney on the case at the time, said that when investigators approached the voters who were said to have cast the ballots, the voters generally said the ballots were legitimate and cast for the candidate they supported, the Post reported.
You don't understand why people might need help filling out a ballot? Or you don't understand why Jose R. might want to help people fill out their ballots?
no i get that, jose has been a good boy, but 700 people? and they were generally legit?
and what does appeared mean in this context? did he sign them or what?
i can see where that would get attention
Like Saul Goodman, JR likely knows where some people congregate...
In this context, I take generally to mean that they didn't check each and everyone of those ballots, but took a sample. And they checked out.
I'm guessing there's a checkbox and/or space for a name that indicates someone helped fill out the ballot. Just like the sentence suggests.

"In Georgia, where Trumpâs lead over Biden has shrunk to 3,486, only 18,936 ballots remain uncounted, according to Jordan Fuchs, the deputy secretary of state."
âSuch statements by an incumbent president weaken public confidence in state institutions and were perceived by many as increasing the potential for politically motivated violence after the elections,â the report said.
Yeah, but it is the mayor's of these cities who side with the looters that tell the police to stand down and let the looters and whatnot have free reign. The mayor's who tell the police to stand down seem to come from one particular party ...
See what has happened in Seattle for instance. And long before that, in Baltimore.
That is BS and you know it kurtster. The mayors are not siding with the looters. They are attempting to contain the riots and looting and, among other objectives, minimize injury and the loss of life.
That is the way we roll in Canada and most civilized rich countries. In many cases, it is the police chiefs that will hold back before containing a situation.
Agreed. And all the puff about 'Law and Order' hits the ash can when you see the intimidation tactics and reckless endangerment of vehicles on a Texas Interstate. Is one form of violence better than another?

What more proof do we need than his tweets the last couple days, including this one from this morning, that he is bad for, and a threat to, our democracy?
Don't look now...but PA somehow miraculously found the votes to remove me from office. So corrupt. Georgia too. Arizona....keep up the good work, and make sure all of the votes for the great people of Arizona....and Nevada...are counted. What a clown.
As a side note....STOP THE TESTING! New high in US cases....only because we are testing bigly.
