I think a lot bands imitated/shared this sound, and people are just getting tired of blues in general. I know I am but this is still a great record.

I've got the album on vinyl and I vividly remember hoping the war would end before I turned 18.  Actually the war didn't have to end, just the draft.  It didn't have to be before I was 18 either.  They waited until after you were 18 before they gave you a lottery number before they gave you all the inspections, detections, infections, and neglections all before they sent you the Greetings from the Dickster letter that made you officially selected.  It was just barely enough time.
