It would be more convenient if the size and location of the player "stuck" from the previous use.

You're right its on the old player that is embedded in the home tab on the website.  I will start using the beta player button just below it.  Thank you I didn't realize there was a difference.

This is true. I'm working on a totally revamped beta player design with most of the new features, but with significantly lower memory usage. Stay tuned...

Hello,

I found a small bug in songs list of an artist. The Average rating of the songs in this page is different from the rating when looking at a song details.

For example :
I was looking emancipator list of songs in RP playlist and for song Nevergreen avg rating in list song page is 7.8. When clicking on song info Avg Rating is 7.4.

It is the same for all songs.
Not important just to report the bug

Edit : looking for severals singers and songs, and the difference between the 2 avg rating is always 0.4...

I have been trying the BETA for a few weeks now and I am experiencing lots of pops and drop outs with the sound.  The overall sound quality (fidelity) seems to be better, but I have stopped using it here at work, because I cant take the stops and starts in the sound.

Thanks for your work on new RP website, by browsing there I've had these notes.

Notes (rp3_player_tab.php):
  • some songs doesn't has lyrics. I've found one song from slovak artist Jana Kirschner, that doesn't contain lyrics at this moment: https://www8.radioparadise.com/rp3_player_tab_content.php?song_id=40556 If there are plenty of these songs, can be a good idea to let users propose lyrics from their site, as a link to page with lyrics itself, so you can verify content before actual adding content to the song on RP
  • It takes me a while to figure out how can I vote for the song now - I've been looking for drop-down selectbox. Graphical column with rows is nice, I like it more than default system control, but
  • reworked PSD, wou!  It's great idea to have an option which kind of music I'd like to switch as same as 1 or 6 songs in row, really appreciate  I think that if I switch in different song in short time (don't like the song and want to try another, it maybe shouldn't be noted in personal listen history immediately. What about to put song in the history after some delay, when would be obvious, that I've really listened it For some reason options Random and Groovy doesn't work for me. It decrease volume, but no song starts to play.
  • Do you consider to connect web player with Last.fm service? I'll very appreciate this interconnection.
  • I liked to expand of album art picture when I've clicked into the picture.  Now when I do the same, I would be navigated to whole album detail page. Ok, it make sense as well, but I appreciate to have an option to temporary way to take a look at the picture in bigger sizeI like personal playlist feature
  • in general, all JS "pop up" dialogues (for PSD, choose vote for a song, ...) should contain "X" button to close. The behavior is not consistent: Vote dialogue is canceled only if I click to iframe with light-grey background PSD dialogue is canceled only if I click to dark gray background that surrounds the player itself.
  • I can't remove my vote for song
  • Slider for adjusting volume is almost 'hidden', I didn't notice it on the first sight and had to look for it explicitly
  • settings button - maybe - dialogue can be centered to width of page. Tabs ("main settings", "playlist settings") - cursor if I hover mouse to them is "text", but it acts as buttons/links and people are get used to see "hand" cursor. Change background on :hover is fine, but this note about cursor type will make it more consistent (at least in my eyes  ). Also would be nice if the labels of tabs will start with Capital letter. Also word "settings" is quite redundant there, because the whole dialogue is about settings in general (maybe add title to the dialogue with tabs under it?)
  • I'm not sure if I really understand difference between "Sync to Web Stream" and "Back to Main Mix"...

——
Footnote: Great work in general.

Personally, I don't care for the "popout" player. I have to minimize my browser to access it. A needless step IMHO.

This is my first time trying to login in quite some time as my work firewall seeming to be blocking all streaming feeds. But I'm pleasantly surprised that I was able to get in and the sound seems much better than it was in the past.

2 bugs today: One I hit pause button. Then tried to start stream by hitting play button, and nothing happened. Had to quit and relaunch player. Second, tried using PSD button. Now player plays both the streamed songs and a second selection on top of it. FYI, using Safari on MacOS Sierra.

I know I have to have at least 100 songs rated 7 or higher to activate the "I like" feature - but what do I have to do to set it to 6+? Whenever I switch to 6+ in my playlist settings, the "I like" button mysteriously disappears...

Well that was a bit weird. Started the beta player near the end of the Waif's Lighthouse. Listened for a while and then Lighthouse came on again. At the end the player hung up and nothing played. Hit the restart button and just saw floaty grey bubbles. Restarted again at Yat-Kha Come Along.

Yesterday and today I've been getting periods of silence (a minute?) between songs. At least I think it's between songs. It's not consistent. They last long enough for me to notice and think the stream has stopped... then the audio starts up again. It's happened enough that I switched to the regular player, which has been fine. I'm using Safari on Sierra.

I believe the problems I was having in Chrome may have had nothing to do with Beta Player but some sort of more general memory leak since it began happening with other sites.  Now that I've solved that issue I will have to re-test it.

There are still some problems with Win 10 + Chrome. Sometimes two songs playing at the same time, but only when you fool around with PSD. Not many crashes.
