ok. so you're renting the truck on a daily basis? rent in Santa Rosa, returning it at the new place? then going back home with Mag?
Fu&^ if I know.Mag says she figured out a solution. It's involve 8 hours of driving in one day but it'll be the very last think we had to do. I can't believe it's taking 4 truck loads to move. I fell off the truck the other night landed in the dolly and shelf then hit the concrete and ended up halfway down the hill. I thought I may have broken my hip but since I had take nan extra pain illI didn't feel the full impact of the fall until this morning and now I'm out of meds because if the extreme pain of move stuff when I'm not supposed to lift much more than a coffee cup. Well, I'll reload on meds tomorrow and we'll make another run in a smaller 20 footer which was the biggest we could get. I have a stupid dr app at 3 pm so we'll just be waiting around for a while but at least we're hiring movers this time - and both ends of the run. And I'm not sure if we solved the extra car puzzle properly yet.
OK I'm too tire and busted up to figure this one out. (I fell off the u-haul yesterday night)
What have we been doing is renting a one-way u-haul, filling it with out junk.. Mag follows behind in her car. We get to the new place, off load and drive back in horrible pain. So my jeep has just been sitting around.
Now what do we do for our last move? We need to rent a truck 2 more times.Mag will stay behind to finish cleaning the yard, clean, etc. so around this wednesday day we'll rent one more truck and finally be done.
I'll drive the truck as usual with mag following. But my jeep is still at our old house. How can we get my truck home? I didn't want to rent car-towing for a bunch of reasons.
End of puzzle.
When in doubt, always go the hobo route...maybe work in a couple of Slim Jims and a root beer... Either that or find somebody needing to send something back to Santa Rosa and do it for the gas and 50 clucks...pick up the Jeepster, then what?
