I must be out of the loop because this comment makes no sense to me. Wait, maybe falsely saying he wasn't really American, so since he is black is just like the Haitians who are kind of like the Chinese who didn't eat your pets either but it is ok for trump to use it to attack immigrants. He may not have a dog but he sure knows how to dog whistle. Hey, I thought you supported legal immigration, so why aren't you supporting the people trump is baselessly attacking? It confirms that, when faced with an adversary, Trump is flustered and nonsensical. Imagine him against one of our real enemies.

We ALL knew the questions in advance. That's why she was prepared and he wasn't.
Economy, immigration, health care, Russia/Ukraine. This wasn't that hard to study for.
I did think Harris came across better than expected, presidential even. As for her content, about par for these types of events.
Not to be overly pessimistic, but arent these really popularity contests, who looks better, than about fleshing out facts and policies?
My honest opinion? Simple. 10% informative. 90% nonsense. Exactly what I expected. The body language provided some amusement but for the most part it was absolutely uninspiring.
In spite of several problems with the way this debate was conducted, I don't think any minds were changed last night. And yes, Kamala came out of it bettering expectations.
Consider this debate a base reference where each of the combattants might go up or down from.
