Better add FBI, ATF & DEA to the thread title. Heard a news story yesterday that they also have drones. I almost wish I still had a rifle; I wouldn't shoot a human with one anymore but I'd gleefully take down some of those things.

Well avfter spending much of the past month watching the many hearings on many matters, I keep hearing either outright lies, I dunno or they're just a couple of rouge agents acting alone in response to questions that are representitive of this so called oversight.  And in special cases, the 5th.

It seems that the only reasons we are hearing about anything that is going wrong in gubmit is because of whistle blowers.  Oversight is the gubmit pc joke du jour.  Its as meaningless as all those promises of transparency. 

We the People are being laughed at by everyone in our gubmit as the stupidest citizens on this planet.  It is so obvious that our stupidity is being taken for granted by simply watching and listening to all these hearings. 

I gave the least untruthful answer.  Oh really ?  How refreshing.  How reassuring.

I feel like I'm back in the 60's with all the lying during Viet Nam (I gave the least untruthful answer) and we just had the Pentagon Papers dumped into the open.

My mindset back then was that I will fight for my country but not my government.  Once again the gubmit has clearly been shown to be our enemy.

It sure as hell does not take a genius to figure out what is going on right now.

It was either Holder or Obama who said that we have become a nation of cowards.

And in my humble opinion, those who deny the reality of all this are cowards.
(and I am not calling out anyone here.  I want to be clear about that.  This is where my mind is at in general)

Turn the lights on, brighter than since the 60's.  Cowards and cockroaches both react the same way when the light shines.

Regardless of what it costs the US in our so called national security, to me Snowden is a real hero.  An act of Civil Disobedience and paradigm shifter. 

On this day it makes me consider my father and his and his on so on back to the one who first set ashore on this continent some 367 years ago.  The Constitution means something to me and it is the brightest torch we have to use and it is worth defending and preserving.  If the Constitution scares you, then this is not your country.  The Bill of Rights is facing its biggest attack ever.  And this NSA stuff is all about the 4th Amendment.

Like the 60's, I will not go quietly into the night.
