The Roost is closed for dinner tonight.... My step son is taking me out.  I think he's finally going to apologize for getting drunk, and barfing all over R_D, my Christmas Eve table, the floor, the gifts under the tree, and one of our guests, two years ago!

We're getting ready for Yule.  Cleaning and dusting, clearing away and organizing....  Roasted Cornish hens and carrots for dinner, with a dessert of old world honey cakes!  Mead and Wassail!  Cheers, and welcome to the longest night of the year on the northern half!
