I didn't get it until I remembered Old Mickey, a basset hound who would chase rabbits through briar patches when we were hunting when I was kid. Then memory served. Ouch.

Maybe that deep rooted memory is the real reason I quit hunting. {#Lol}

I think he left because his passionate personality was not tolerated by dullards and he lacked the stubbornness to endure. His leaving wasn't so much his fault as it was for pettiness sake. You can laugh and jeer now, dullards. Smile and be villains.
