which MLK (i think) paraphrased 'no one is free unless we are all free", fitting today, no?

"You could afford to go on a cruise ... if you didn't buy so many pairs of earrings." My sweet mother, who obviously didn't pull any punches. I miss her everyday.

So, I have this ridiculous memory bank of things people have said to me over the years that have Stuck. With. Me. Here are some of them. (What are yours?)

- "Don't fondle the fabric." My first quilting teacher.
