Highest score so far about 40M.
Looks like you have to have the dwarf star at either the periphery or the center, and then focus on the habitable zones...

I think mine is around 30M using the same strategy.  The scoring seems to a function of the total mass and the mass in in the habitable zone and you get the habitable bonus even when you have an eccentricity that takes in in for a few months then out for a few which I think is rather sporting of them.  I think you may be able to get more points with some of the other templates that don't force you to have a dinky little earth that gets thrown around so easily even if the allowed radius is a bit smaller.  As with most computer games I quickly move on to establishing my own goals.  I've managed to get one Uranus Neptune type orbit swap in a system that made it the full 500 years (and if I had programmed it there would be a button to reenlist for another 500).  My record so for keeping an orbit that crossed another's orbit is 438 years.  Neptune and Pluto have probably been doing it much longer but they're a lot farther out and have a third dimension.

Ooh, that's pretty cool.

It's neat to speed up the playback (then slow it down at about 280 years to watch the end of my habitable planet)!
