Since it's a full moon,I went for a walk.I counted 7 drones! I've never even seen one before,but I don't usually walk this late.

Yeah, they do go after cats, which is part of what concerned me: a few of my neighbors have indoor/outdoor cats (my cat is indoor-only). This coyote wasn't much larger than a fox, but still, it's unusual for them to be in town. There has been some new real estate development on the perimeters of town (areas that used to be woods and/or fallow farms), so it's possible the the coyotes and their ordinary prey are finding themselves closer to areas where there are more people.

I know they're around outside of town, but it was odd seeing him here.

good match! I was wondering why they did the rule in 100% of whatever that godawful Salmon is and the speech balloon in about a 80% tint. But yeah with the sliver of white. If it'd been done in a little more upscale shop, the people would have been masked out and that mask would have been reversed/choked to make a mask for the balloon too. I always had a brain cramp trying to figure out chokes and spreads.

The border looks like it was done with a straightedge and ink or scribed into film or rubylith (or whoever scanned it in put it on in photoshop), but the speech balloon was cut out of ruby almost freehand. Especially where it's cut around the heads with a good bit of trapping. that was a good hour's worth of work (including outlining the people) and it looks so bad. But also cool in that computers do all of that stuff so perfectly. It does look like a free-hand cut on rubylith with a little trapping around the heads. I remember cutting overlay film for catalogs where the director would have us expand the area and have it bleed into dark areas, because a sliver of white space was considered inexcusable. I added that border in the image dialogue box.

Three scrub jays fighting and bitching at each other in the tree in the back yard— in the pouring rain—and a poor hummingbird trying to come in for a landing, while all that ruckus was going on near its little red feeder.

Totally off subject, sort of: There's a YA (Young Adult for those not familiar with the genre or the abbreviation) novel titled Hold Me Closer, Necromancer*. The title made me laugh. I haven't read the book yet, but it looks pretty interesting. *That's an RP link to Amazon, but I have to admit that I would love it if anyone interested in the book would seek it out locally**. **Thanks.
