this is running through wifi. if that makes a difference. I would think the computer hooked directly into the ethernet would be faster.

It's going from about $150 to $200(was on a promotional pkg), and I'm not getting that much TV (HBO and HD)

I think my problem is that I've got six TVs scattered around the house and the "boxes" are banging it up there.

Hulu plus? May have to look into that

I'm scheduled to switch to Uverse on Monday.

The say I'll get at least 12 Mbs download speed. It's a trade off for more channels on more TVs.
Everyone in the house is excited, well except for me.

It's only six months and then I'm up for whatever.

Any good experiences with Uverse? (long term)

How much are you paying? Our phone/TV/net package is $110. We're about to drop the TV and add HuluPlus, and in another year or so I think we'll be ready to drop the landline too.
