I've thought about doing that to a cool old building of some kind. Even found a couple of buildings, but none that were in a place I'd like to live once the project was finished. Someday though, once I've internalized and blocked all the trauma associated with the current remodeling project...

Those are exquisite details, D. Thanks for sharing. I love stuff like that, having thought briefly about becoming an architect. After I thought about becoming an archeologist. I think I was doing an alphabetical thing.

Glad to see you came out of the storms intact. Nice pad, but I have to say that the water fountain jars a little. Would've thought that a chap had some domestic help to attend to ones guests' hydration needs. Details, Gatsby, it's always the details. P.S. Beautiful design work. Not my cup of tea, but I'll doff my cap to the designer and the craftsmen - especially the quarrymen and the masons.
