What I got from that is that if you have a peecee or craptop with a microphone and Chrome installed a hacker can gain access to the microphone through the bug as listen in at will (or bob or larry etc)

Took 6 hours to do a clone of the old drive to an external (the failsafe backup), then 3 or so hours to do a clone of the old HD to the new SSD, then maybe an hour to actually put it in. While we were taking it apart, the guy whose bench I was using said "I should look thru my box of RAM and see if I have any for that" and sure enough, he had a 4GB and 2GB pair just laying around. I had 2 1GB chips in and the thing can only address 3GB max, so I took them both out and put the 4 & 2 in to see what would happen. It was not happy So I took out the 4, put a 1 back in and it's great. "Only" 3GB RAM in it but that's 50% more than I had this morning, and the big apps will use the SSD as virtual memory which will really speed things up.

I just went shopping for an SSD and found a price on the Samsung 840 Pro that was, at $209, about $20 less than the next lowest price and $40 under most retailers. I was looking around on the site (MacMall) for RAM too and when I came back and added the SSD to the cart, the price jumped to $249! Too slow, Scott, too slow.
