Wrong coast Dudeman. I'm in NorCal. Skiing is great from what I hear. Bought new skis, boots and poles before the drought, haven't used them for about three years now. Having too much fun sailing.

Every mammal for itself.  Edit: And no, we cannot fell any natural trees without HOA permission.  Most of our storms blow the Doug-firs away from the house.

hmm.. ok your house should be ok if well built and made of wood (light and flexible they tend to go with the flow) Just make sure you don't have any heavy objects (like a Hobbit or two) that could fall on you.
