J B's is still functioning and the new owner is starting to get it going again.  Cloverleaf is now long gone, it is now a landfill.  It got closed after a race when a car went into the pond in the center and the driver drowned.

The Sly concert is still talked about to this day.  IIRC, he barely showed up, really really late and barely got it together for that one.  And then there was the Lee Michaels concert where he literally fell off the stage.  A tad too loaded.

This old town had some great places.  Sadly, it is now a shadow of its former self, musically.  Of note, the Agora has moved into the old WHK auditorium, where MMS's studios were for awhile.  It is still a great place to see someone in a very small hall.

Animals had just been released and they floated the pink pig. Some Germans somehow got hold of it and made for an interesting riot.

The good old Music Carneval Tent by Thistledown Racetrack ?  Got to see the original Allman Bros there.  And there was the Allen Theatre, other than Music Hall (the back half of Public Hall), it was probably the best small hall in town.  The Allen has been refurbished and is very nice again.  It was even a Laserium for awhile.

Sure was fun.  One of the best at the old stadium was CS & N back in the 80's.  It held the record for quite awhile as the largest audience in an enclosed venue.  The sweet smell of poppy's was in the air for that one.

{#Cheers}
