Washed it this morning when I got up today. Sitting here with a freaking BATH towel wrapped around my head.

Before I got out today I'll tie it back, but I won't yet be able to comb it because it'll still be very wet. So it'll be wet still when I go to bed.

It's a P.I.T.A. However, though I'm ready to chop it all off and not have to deal with this, I'm still far too lazy about making monthly appointments to pay someone to cut it.

And so it goes.

But don't you get COLD?  I have to blow dry my hair or else I would spend all day shivering.  Not that I style when I blow dry.  I mostly just bend over and get the roots and back of my neck dry so I don't feel the wet.  If I went to bed with wet hair I would wake up with the sniffles.

I've had the same length of hair since it grew out from a short short haircut in 1986.  I have baby fine hair, but a lot of it..... wash it and use a teeny bitto conditioner just on the ends.  ONLY brush it before I wash it or while I'm washing it, otherwise it goes flat.  Teeny bit of mouse and spritzes of hairspray and let it dry by itself, unless it's 20 degrees out, then I try to dry it a bit more,

I wanna see pics of lilys hair now

i have the best haircut/style i've had in years. back to my old erm..."natural" color: brown. and, embracing the many curls. i'm too lazy to straighten it. i loooove straight hair. but, i have too much hair and it takes way too long to straighten. i like to be able to shake it out after a shower, and let it dry or dry it for about 5 minutes tops.

Versatility, baby.  Some days I like to blow dry it and straighten it...but by nature it wants to be curly. I am a natural brunette, but the sun and air and oxidation keep turning it honey-brown-red.
Right now, it's longer than it's been since the late 90s. It actually gets caught when I lean back in a chair! Kind of cool.

Used to be down to my waist. Now that its, um, er, sparse, I keep it about an inch or two at most. Wash at least once a day and style with the bath towel.

Very nice style. I was thinking of that one when I cut it again.

I can't remember the last time I even thought about hair care! The upside is that it is one less worry!{#Yes} I always like to say that I had it when I needed it!{#Lol}

Mom always encouraged us to experiment with our hair and I have had mine almost every length, style, and color.  For me, it is a form of self-expression and I have lots of fun playing with it.  While most days I'm lucky if it even gets brushed, I do change it up often.  Right now I have a very dark brown blunt bob with huge bangs.  Nothing like the shaggy, flippy, champagne/cinnamon/caramel 'do I had last week.  If wigs weren't so expensive I would probably have a whole collection!

I stopped using shampoo.  It takes a fairly long time for the hair follicles to adjust — and stop cranking out extra oil to compensate for the extreme drying qualities of shampoo.

I'll use a dot of shampoo about every two weeks, just washing around my scalp.

I need only a fraction of the conditioner that I used to use.  (My hair tangles too badly if there's no conditioner, so I really can't go without.)

My stylist says that was the secret for the smooth glossy hair of all those starlets in the old movies: washing hair very little, but brushing it every night to distribute the oils evenly over the hair. I wash mine a couple times a week.

I use Aubrey Organics' J.A.Y. Desert Herb shampoo. Derived 100% from plant sources, it includes jojoba oil, which replaces the oil loss as it cleans the hair. I only have to use a very small dollop to get my scalp and hair clean.

I cut it when it gets annoyingly long. last time was 2 years ago. I had enough to donate to Locks of Love. I'm thinking it's time to cut again and I probably have enough for another donation.

I'm a wash 'n wear type. it's long and straight. I don't own a dryer because I don't get dressed up to go anywhere.  The last time I cut it was about 4 years ago. I've been intending to donate to Locks of Love for the the last couple of years, but I'm a world class procrastinator. Pretty close.

That is such a cool charity.  The donation means far more than financial assistance to most.
