Long ago, I was an electrician's apprentice. I was the new kid so I was the one that got to do all the attic and under the house work. I ultimately decided it just wasn't for me.

I believe code has it that the receptacle is not directly in back of the dishwasher anyway, should be unpluggable so go thru the side of the cabinet and install the plug under the sink or somewhere where you can get at it. But if it's a wire-nut-free hookup, screwed directly to the warsher, that's pretty solid.

Hate to throw a wrench in the works, but I'd recommend installing a receptacle in the wall to actually be able to plug in the dishwasher. I don't like the idea of inaccessable wirenuts making the connection.
