yup...acting and producing almost to the end. he and the whole cast of The Outsiders hold a special place in my heart; it's one of my favorite movies.

His determination to fight pancreatic cancer helped my grandmother keep up the fight against hers. I am just glad that he's out of pain (pancreatic is brutal) and selfishly, that he outlived her... if he had gone first it may have been too much for her to see that all over the news. Give her a break, she was a little out there after her 80th and the chemo intensified the dementia. If Patrick was her comrade, so be it.  I still get weak in the knees over certain scenes in Dirty Dancing... and a few in Ghost... a definitely most of the scenes in Roadhouse.  To one of the few Hollywood-ians who ever gave me the vapors. |

What a fighter. P and I watched him with Walters. It was that interview that helpped to inspire me to really fight the fight. RIP, the battle is over.  |
