I was thinking that we could vote on a theme each month, you could let me know if you are interested in taking on that theme, I would make a list of all those interested, and give someone a name to send to like the gift swap idea.  You don't have to particiate every month and you would only have one person to send to.  Then of course we would all share what we got here on this thread.

I don't know how many people you've got signed up for this yet, but it could be split into smaller groupings and the "co-hosts" (I think you mentioned the idea of them at some point) for that month could each get a small group that they send CDs to of their own making...

I have other mixed CDs that I've made before, but I think part of the fun in all of this is coming up with something new—and something that is specifically meant for the rather eclectic group that will surely be a part of this.

fishy, i completely understand where you're coming from and will be fine with whatever is decided.

i think it is important to come up with NEW mixes - not just rehashing something you've had or made for someone else, in keeping with the whole concept of mix tapes, but that's just me. plus, how would anyone know? LOL anyway, i have already thought of at least 10 possible themes.
