fishy, i completely understand where you're coming from and will be fine with whatever is decided.
i think it is important to come up with NEW mixes - not just rehashing something you've had or made for someone else, in keeping with the whole concept of mix tapes, but that's just me. plus, how would anyone know? LOL anyway, i have already thought of at least 10 possible themes. Absolutely. Wake up, Nerds! The Iceman Cometh!* *I want this on a shirt. CLUB MEMBERS: I'm going to go ahead and mail out the CDs for now. Can't help it, I'm a touchy-feely person. If you haven't already sent me your address and you would like my mixtape, please message me.

I'm piloting this month...going to be mindful of how long it takes me and how much it costs. As long as the mail-out stays at twenty or below, I'm game to do it alone. If the club gets larger, I'll ask someone to help me with the load and co-host. The whole point is to stay true to the mixtape.

It's my preference too, but I can see how mailing out 50 CDs to people can be a bummer. I'm thinking of maybe taking on co-hosts (to split the mailings 2 or more ways) if the group gets huge, but right now it's under 10 members.

not-a-fish wrote: This is a cool thought. I'd be willing to re-think logistics if others wouldn't mind sort of losing the overall "process of the tape". By that I mean burning discs, liner notes, cover art, etc. I like to do all these things, but would probably have to upload my notes and cover art, etc. because I can't do that times 50 and not end up hating my own idea :D
Yeah. But really I get a disc and stick it in the machine immediately anyway to rip it.
