Sorry, I'm checking in late. Just wanted you to know I received your "mixtape" on Friday and I gave it a thorough listening to yesterday. Fantastic job! Much great stuff that I've heard before and enjoyed but didn't have in my collection. Have you heard from the other podlings in our group?
Yup... got mine on Friday, but didn't get a chance to listen to it until this morning's commute. I'm about halfway through it, I guess (short commutes are nice). Thanks, Mem... good job!

This one is a thank you gift for one of my girlfriends. I like to put small three dimensional objects in that little space (is there a word for it?) on the left. This one has a couple of little roses, a tassel and little metal charm. The disk has 'thank you' songs on it. Anywho, there's some ideas for ya : )

Ok...If I don't hear anything from him soon, I think I might convince pdxbiker to mail out his CD now so they can do a switch.

Jimi_the_Saint wrote:Odd. I guess most of the shows I've seen have been GA shows. I've seen Neko a few times now and they've all been GA. Of course, I go mostly to club shows. The only places I get ticketed seating are at theater shows, which are a rarity for me. I guess the last time for that was when we went down to Knoxville to see John Prine with BDH. Well, most of the smaller shows I go to are at GA venues. This one, where I saw Neko last week (and saw Jenny Lewis there with Kysmet a couple of months ago) is an old theater that has gone back-and-forth in its usage, most recently becoming a venue for live performances—some of which are stage productions/plays, so it makes sense that there is seating.

With a ticketed venue, seems like no matter how try I follow where tickets are sold or how to get them, or when... I always get some lousy seat I can't control. I miss the old days of sleeping on the sidewalk waiting for the ticket place to open. But I'm talking about general admin shows that are standing room only (other than a couple of choice bar tables here and there). I don't know that I've ever been to a general admin show that has seating.
