Radical Face – The Road To Nowhere. I’ve heard his “hits”. This one is new to me. I guess I need to look a little deeper into his catalog.

Billie Marten - I Can’t Get My Head Around You. Nice voice. Never heard of her before.

Boy & Bear – Southern Sun. I’ve heard of them before. I like this one.

Lord Huron – Bag Of Bones. I know of these guys and like them a lot. I have quite a few of their songs on my playlist. Just not this one.

Correatown – All the World/ I Tell Myself. New to me. I can feel the bittersweetness in this one.

Junip – Without You. Another sad tale. I know of a few songs from them. Reminds me of Jose Gonzales.

Cross Record – High Rise. Another new one to me. I’ll give it a 7 on the Radio Paradise grading scale.

Frankel – Anonymity Is The New Fame. Never heard of these people before. They sound a lot like Camera Obscura... which is a good thing to me. With lyrics “And put your arms around everyone you don't want to die” that give us all very good advice.

Ian Post – Passing Moments. I really like the “phasing” in this one. Gives it a nice psychedelic feel to it. “Floating in the white clouds.”

Lisa Hannigan – Fall. She’s new to me. More interesting lyrics... “Time will seize the captain’s wheel. A mutiny we’ve come to feel”. Nice.

Pat Tierney – Golden Lover, Silver Soul. Another nice one but haven’t heard before.

Portugal The Man – The Sun. Hey! One I’ve heard before.

Ra Ra Riot – Water. Hey! I’ve got this one on my playlist. So, this is my favorite here. Technically it’s Ra Ra Riot and Rostam. Thanks for including it.

Skinshape – It’s Real. I’ve never heard of them. But definitely worthwhile.

Tina Dico – Someone You Love. And more new. But so sad.

The Red Clay Strays – Wanna Be Loved. “At the end of my life... I just wanna be loved... “ There you go.

Unkle – Farewell. The end. Goodbye.

I suppose I listened to the lyrics more than I usually do because of your theme.
I can see where you are coming from with this mix. And you accomplished the retrospective effect.
Sorry for the loss of some friends. We all experience this fact.

I always liked what Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes 7:2 & 4...

Kinda like the really tight fitting slacks. Or the shorts that are "longs" hanging down past the rear end to the ankles.
Or the long hair always getting in the way. All too uncomfortable for me. Especially when I'm working.
