It would have been nice to see what Philly could have done with more time. The game was pretty clean of penalties all game so it sucked to see a ticky tacky one called in that situation.
Those come after the game, win or lose. I read it in The Enny City Times News & Mâché. I'm thinking Philly wins just from the spirit power of sheer audacity...
i'd like to see hurts and the dirty birds eek out a victory impossible to count out mahomes freak factor to a close game without any serious injuries

- Bengals had the ball with 2 mins left...couldn't move it into field goal range...so they punt.
- The punt is in the middle of the field...against a team that can't move the ball! The only way they can lose in regulation is a runback. You have to angle that ball and if it goes out at their 40...you still go to OT.
- Then Assai puts them in FG range. Nobody made Assai hit Mahommes...clearly out of bounds. That penalty gets called any week of the year, against any QB. That is one of the dumbest plays in the history of the NFL playoffs. Leon Lett is celebrating. But...
The refs had very little to do with any of that.. It's a shame to lose because of a penalty, but anyone who roots for New Orleans will tell you that they need to call penalties when they happen.
The whole game was wild. The first quarter alone was nuts. The ball hits the skycam wire on a punt?
Throw in multiple false starts, three sacks in a row, every player seemingly limping...
But at least it was a game. The poor 49'ers never had a chance. After the season they survived, it was a sad end. Hope Johnson (concussion?) is okay. Ditto Purdy (elbow?). McCaffrey couldn't carry the whole dang team - but he tried.

It's a shame when the officiating dictates the outcome.

No doubt with all the crap that transpired they did indeed still have a chance but the point it should have never come down to the end like that.
