- Bengals had the ball with 2 mins left...couldn't move it into field goal range...so they punt.
- The punt is in the middle of the field...against a team that can't move the ball! The only way they can lose in regulation is a runback. You have to angle that ball and if it goes out at their 40...you still go to OT.
- Then Assai puts them in FG range. Nobody made Assai hit Mahommes...clearly out of bounds. That penalty gets called any week of the year, against any QB. That is one of the dumbest plays in the history of the NFL playoffs. Leon Lett is celebrating. But... The refs had very little to do with any of that.. It's a shame to lose because of a penalty, but anyone who roots for New Orleans will tell you that they need to call penalties when they happen.

No doubt with all the crap that transpired they did indeed still have a chance but the point it should have never come down to the end like that.
