Only you would take it to kittehs, Jrzy! lol Actually when you spend time around homesteaders and farmers they are usually very willing to cull anything and everything, I guess it comes from true survival, limited resources and time, but I am not that hard core yet and think if someone wants to help these unfortunate animals there are certainly worse ways to spend your time. Kitteh looks a lot like my beloved Edward (rest his soul) who just passed after 15 years of being my faithful appendage. :-(

All kinds of things, but I seem especially vulnerable to pure light. The contrast makes me cry every time...Lately I seem a little leathery and hardened but I realize it's an emotional defense mechanism. I've had an often tumultuous past five years. The ship has been a bit unsteady several times; even avant windward if you will, and I struggled to keep perspective several times. I am an acutely emotional creature and without a sense of how to channel it I can be intense for either positive or negative. Lately I've just been working to exhaustion as a diversion. I know I'm not hiding from my inner turmoil; it knows just where to find me. How I miss that dog in times such as these. That makes me cry too...
But hey, I built a lot of stuff too, and as a matter of fact I have stuff to yet build so here I go!
Shout out to all the builders out there amongst you all; building all kinds of good things and seaworthy ships... Ahoy!
The Builders
All are architects of Fate, Working in these walls of Time; Some with massive deeds and great, Some with ornaments of rhyme.
Nothing useless is, or low; Each thing in its place is best; And what seems but idle show Strengthens and supports the rest.
For the structure that we raise, Time is with materials filled; Our to-days and yesterdays Are the blocks with which we build.
Truly shape and fashion these; Leave no yawning gaps between; Think not, because no man sees, Such things will remain unseen.
In the elder days of Art, Builders wrought with greatest care Each minute and unseen part; For the Gods see everywhere.
Let us do our work as well, Both the unseen and the seen; Make the house, where Gods may dwell, Beautiful, entire, and clean.
Else our lives are incomplete, Standing in these walls of Time, Broken stairways, where the feet Stumble as they seek to climb.
Build to-day, then, strong and sure, With a firm and ample base; And ascending and secure Shall to-morrow find its place.
Thus alone can we attain To those turrets, where the eye Sees the world as one vast plain, And one boundless reach of sky.

Get ready... this kitten was found with a broken back. back legs and tail are paralyzed. the vet recommended euthanasia. The foster person took him home and started physical therapy and acupuncture. While making an adorable video, the kitten did this.
