All kinds of things, but I seem especially vulnerable to pure light. The contrast makes me cry every time...Lately I seem a little leathery  and hardened but I realize it's an emotional defense mechanism. I've had an often tumultuous past five years. The Builders

All are architects of Fate,

While making an adorable video, the kitten did this.

odd thing, I rarely if ever cry, but seeing disabled people overcoming obstacles does tend to turn the spigot on for me. Perhaps it is tears of embarrassment for having the nerve to ever complain or feel sorry for myself.

Freaks my wife out when I start crying over good things. Got all choked up watching the final of the first season of British Baking Show yesterday, and couldn't talk. She tries to figure it out, but I think I've just got John Boehner's Disease.

Went over to a friend's house to hang out this afternoon, and her newish, youngish dog and Weezie got into a scuffle out on the deck. Weezie tried, unsuccessfully, to convey her boundaries without violence, but ... There was a terrible sounding ruckus (and W ended up with a small nick on her ear). I turned away, put my face in my hands, and cried. I am not used to dog tussles.
