EDIT:  Another plus is the data plan makes everything except calls unlimited.  Most of my calls are to/from people with Verizon, so I never go over my limit.

Verizon, family plan.  Unlimited texting (the kids use it.....I text and it looks like I've written something in Bulgarian), unlimited minutes within Verizon and unlimted nights/wkend for any other calls.  OK, now here's the bummer.  We have 1400 minutes, but now with texting, we've been using only about 500 - 600minutes.  The plan below ours is 700 min and I'm afraid to go that low.  Why don't they have 900 or 1000 minutes?   I pay $153/mo. UGH.  I need some Verizon counseling.  Maybe I'll do it this weekend. 

Still have my land line because I HATE talking on the cell phone.

Its a company cell and I wouldn't pay for a plan. Perhaps a trac phone...naw.

P and I have AT&T with unlimited text - $80.
EDIT:  A sub question: who has ONLY cell service - no hardwired phone?

But, I got a 15 year old who can text like nobody's business...

And I got a technodweeb of a husband who figured out how to use his blackberry as a business tool, so I can't break him of that.

And I give kudos to Verizon... in December, with the ice storm, we had nothing but cell phones to communicate with for 2 weeks.  Didn't even THINK about the minutes!  We owed an EXTRA $500 for that month. 

I called and asked if there was any kind of State of Emergency Call Donation Fund or something... but what she did was bump us up to the next level plan (unlimited text, 700 minutes, etc etc) for $60 more per month.  So... $60 instead of $500. 

total monthly bill for the three of us: $200 plus taxes and other fees. 

We need to call and reset our plan to about half that... especially because there are always lots of other mysterious fees and unexpected charges.  ugh.

I'm embarrassed about our cell phone bill, considering how much we actually use the phones, and how cheap I am.

I'm on the T-Mobile pre-paid system now.  I buy 1000 minutes for $100 and it lasts me a whole year.

i used to pay almost exactly $50 per month, but now, i am on dave's family plan, and i don't see the bill.

a year ago (april) I payed $25.74, and now $65.   did something change?
