My daughter the talented-designer-who's-looking gets overwhelmed. I always tell her, "apply anyway. they'll never find anyone who can do all that. You'll learn fast."

Local manufacturer needs full-time painter. A buddy of mine sells blinds and plantation shutters, they've moved their plant local, which is great. They don't have a full-time painter and it's causing backlogs on their orders. If you know somebody with painting experience including spray equipment, PM me...

Help wanted: 3 people for weed control project. Will require carrying a 40 lb sprayer all day. It will be hot with mosquitos. Two weeks will be spent in North Dakota. $10/hr more with a current pesticide applicators license. Call Scott 307-250-0970. This one goes from bad to worse (altho if you're looking for work it is a current listing) - 3 people for weed control project. Hmm okay it's outdoors work.
- Will require carrying a 40 lb sprayer all day. That sounds like fun.
- It will be hot with mosquitos. That's quite a sales pitch you got there.
- Two weeks will be spent in North Dakota. The deal's off!
- $10/hr more with a current pesticide applicators license. Well, money talks! Yours says "Stay home."

I will be visiting SF and plan to be walking nude here and there for a while and would love to have pictures of my adventure. I have a camera. I just need someone who can point and shoot and who likes to walk a bit around the beautiful town. I'm just a simple guy who wants to experience something new, something different, and something legal (yes, it is legal in the city of SF). I would prefer a woman photographer, any age, but will be happy with anyone who replies as my walk will be this Friday, 14 August in the early evening (probably in the Castro district) and Saturday afternoon (times are flexible). thanks so much in advance.. - Location: Downtown

damn! i would do that except he put that non-pro thing in there.

Greetings! We are a small, tight art collective laying down in the Mission that is looking for someone with nimble fingers and a quick tongue to spread our fine pieces to performers in the city! We are mostly a group of European transplants trained classically in Rome and Paris, however several of the ladies are of Turkish discipline and create some of the most beautiful Ottoman Era covers in the United States! If you have always wanted to explore this oft shunned art form you should send us a resume, pictures and stories of experiences with crafting. Don't let an opportunity to make money while you create these wearable masterpieces slip down your leg and get away!! As we say at the collective "Ladies, let the fur fly!" - it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests
- Compensation: no pay

Although I appreciated the snark factor in your first draft, I do agree that this is a much more positive ad, which will be more likely to attract positive employees. I also think mentioning company growth is a good thing, as in this current economic environment, most folks would prefer to work for a going concern than a fly-by-night operation.

jadewahoo wrote: Steve wrote:OK, here is the revised ad. Whaddya think? ———————————————————————————————————————————— Experienced Pool Cleaning Technician Needed. West side area is available right now (35 to 40 stops from South Buckeye to North Peoria, including some work in central Phoenix). We have worked extremely hard to build our reputation as one of the best, and we only seek those that can show up every day and do a quality job for our Customers. Reliability is mandatory in the Pool Service business, and we will reward your quality workmanship and consistency with just about the highest rate per pool in the valley. • Buy a hat and some sunscreen; this is hard work in the HOT Arizona weather! • Minimum one year of verifiable experience, although training on our methods will be provided. • Be ready for a test of your skills. (Example: explain the saturation index) • Independent Subcontractor position, paid by the pool. (Form 1099) • Opportunity for extra income performing repairs and cleanups. • You must have a reliable, respectable looking pickup truck with insurance. • You supply all tools (pole, net, brush, test kit, etc). • Company supplies all chemicals and consumables. • Liability insurance to be provided by subcontractor by the time you start. • Documentation of your work is mandatory. Help our Company grow, and you will be rewarded! Excellent! Now here is a person I would be willing to work for... errr... that is, if I were ever willing to hire myself out. Aw c'mon, it's a short drive down the hill, plus it's cooling off to a cozy 109 tomorrow!
