{#Lol}  I was gonna say that!

I'm still with Firefox even though it has become the bloatware that the original Phoenix/Firebird project was supposed to fight.  Now that disk and RAM are cheap, and the biggest bottleneck in page load times is cross-site linking (and the malware scripting on many of those sites), it's no longer an issue.  The stability (no memory leaks from FF itself) and superior multi-platform capabilities still make it tops for me.

I was a Safari fan but after Chrome got mature enough in features I switched to it and haven't looked back....

Firefox - because the add-ons allow me to block all Flash and most ads.  It is also more compliant with CSS2 (text-shadow, etc) and has better privacy settings than IE.

I keep a copy of Explorer on my Mac because yes. there are still a very few websites out there that are still so stuck in the dark ages that they only work right on Explorer.  But IE's general clunkiness, slowness, and the simple and nauseating fact that it's from Microsoft make me keep it hidden deep in the drive someplace.  I search it out every year or two when I need it.

Meanwhile, I'm using Firefox 3.5.3 (at least on the Netbook—I think the same version is on the Mac but I'm not going to get up and check).  I like the customizeability.  The new Safari is fast indeed, and I'd probably get to like that most-recent-visited view, but it wouldn't do something I wanted the other day so I reverted to Firefox.

I just noticed it defaults there with Chrome too but all I have to do is click where I want it but with Opera, it doesn't want to move and I have to fight with it.  I also play some games that don't render correctly in Opera so I'm going to stick with Chrome.  It's really fast too and I like that it's streamlined...gives me more page space.

It also  works in FF plus you can open links in a new tab the same way.

Also you can customize the scroll button to do other stuff if you want, but I'm used to the way it is.

There's probably a way to do it, but even if you have multiple tabs open, you still have to click once on the tab you want to see it. To me it's just as easy  to do that one click off the speedial page with the middle key(scroll wheel) to make it open in a new tab.

I've been using Opera V10 since it came out. I like everything about it and am happy that Opera Mail supports HTML formatting at last. I have several browsers and I believe that Opera has the desirable features of all of them. Of course, one might actually have to read the on-line help to know how to use all the features   Opera is much faster than any of the other browsers.

How long ago did it come out?  I tried it when I was browser shopping not too long ago so I'm not sure if 10 is what I have (I'm not at home right now).  If I don't have 10, I'll give it a try.
