Are you just choosing not to listen to what I've been trying to tell you, or do you actually think that matters of importance are affected/effected  in any way by propping up arguments for the sake of arguing...
Asked another way- name one person here that has had a permanent change of heart by being associated with stupidity.
It's either all or none. A change of heart is a personal thing, a personal mountain, a personal sea.
You coming or going will not change that for yourself, nor for anyone else.
People do and say what they do because they don't know what there is to know about themselves; that they have the power to overcome the world, and they hide behind their pain instead...

Barack Obama is an estimable person because he leads by example. Rather than engaging the ruthlessly demented, he cuts to the quick from a place of empowerment that needs no defensiveness.

you're absolutely right to point this out to me.

I'd better go do something useful.

Cathy, you have a valid point here.  Maybe we could get a code addition to RP so that it's like my e-mail reader software which has little chili pepper signs to warn me if a particular e-mail has harsh words in it.

Then the threads which are harsh or contentious can be avoided by those who only want a good time.
