I can't recommend the Banfield by me. I love that they're convenient and are open late and weekends but I wasn't too happy with the doctors there. That could just be that location, though. Not sure it was any less expensive either.

No bloodwork, stool sample analysis, two kinds of drugs, nails clipped, some other stuff I have to give her. At my old vet it would have been $400.

seriously? $250 for an infection? was it a visible infection or was blood work needed?

Maggie went to the vet today, and she has a bacterial infection. Glad that is all that it is. ($250 later)

I recommend Banfield clinics, in the Pet Smart stores. At my old vet, the bill would have been much more.

Eek... yeah, that would complicate things... maybe doggie training AND a doggie door (if you can afford both). Hubby and I installed a dog door to the utility room for the cats so we could have the cat pan out of the public areas of the house- it's really easy to do.
