So amazingly similar.  My mother used to make a chinese-esque stew she called "Chop-gooey" which was kinda slimey.  (please note the English spelling for smiley)

No, I will not punch you in the neck for a Jello Puddingue Cup.  That was last night's performance art.

Tonight, I will be addingue the letters "ue" to the end of every word endingue in the letter "g", in order to suggest that I am foreign, and therefore, inherently mysterious and potentially sexy.

My mother used to fry onions and green onions on a griddle, then add shredded potatoes, chopped beets and bacon bits and toss the whole thing around until it was browned slightly and then pour whipped eggs over the mess and cook until the eggs were hot and cooked.  It was a disgusting-looking pile which tasted like heaven.  My mother called it "Red Flannel Hash" and occasionally I make it for myself.

The secret is not to use fresh beets but canned beets which have been slightly pickled.

It was one of the ways she saved money in those days bacon ends were dirt cheap.

I like Canadian bacon... In thick slices with slices of cheese and lettuce and tomatoes... *schlurp*
