You obviously have not been listening to Fed Chair Powell. Even what's her face Yellen, his predecessor has finally fessed up ...
.
So let's appreciate what you're saying....Janet Yellen, the Fed chair that Trump replaced (after suggesting she wasn't tall enough for the job...) with the guy who's been printing money 24/7 and now has a $9 Trillion dollar balance sheet at the Fed...is your proof it's Biden's fault?
Trump poured the lighter fluid, struck the match, lit the flames, waited to call the fire department, and now wants to complain Biden can't put the fire out.
RE: inflation...it's running really hot here vs. Europe for example, but it has to balance out over time. That said...prices aren't going back to pre-Covid pricing for most things. Housing...cars...some things might retreat, but those $15 burgers are here to stay.
ECB has also come out on the side of transitory. Personally, I'm not convinced either, but time will tell. Main point is, the global economy has taken a tremendous hit coming out of left field and the effects are still reverberating around the world's markets. It will take a while to settle.
Inflation is now officially a permanent thing. It is no longer to be considered transitory.
It's obviously being caused by an economy that's rebounding and ready to participate - but the supply chain prevents it. So, costs of available goods and services rise in the face of lack of supply. Is that permanent? Not in the real world.

The Fauci / Harris / Biden administration has just been caught playing god, again. Their federal vaccine mandate has effectively been killed nationwide by several different federal judges.
Writing legislation to help protect Americans against a (for now) preventable fatal respiratory infection is "playing god"? Sounds like straightforward public health policy, like the other requirements to protect against communicable diseases amongst our nation's citizens. Weird to be against that, unless you're wanting people to get sick and die. And who wants that?
In a different arena, actively writing and passing legislation forcing the closure of abortion clinics isn't "playing god"? What kind of playing is it?

A snowball's chance in hell of getting reinstated in the SCOTUS.
Meanwhile he has yet to follow court orders and reinstate the Remain in Mexico Policy.
But wait, there's more. Inflation is now officially a permanent thing. It is no longer to be considered transitory.
Carter will live long enough to see someone do worse than him and make an even bigger mess than he did.
Yup, the 45th president put that argument to rest. ð

No no no that can't be; he's singlehandedly killed the oil and coal and gas industries, didn't you hear? Drilling in Wyoming is way up, but when I mention that, people come back with some reason that's not a valid rebuttal to the Plain Fact That Biden Killed Americaâ¢
I have some dental floss leases you may be interested in...

Well, I guess there are lots of violence loving, anti-democratic pieces of human turd floating around.
Too many of them are simple racist trash.
Oh, spare me that typical lefty response....chucking the rascist, bottom feeder, mouth breather, deplorable, violence loving, anti-democratic, white supremacist, domestic terrorist blah-blah pack of cards down.
Next you'll be claiming to be a victim of something and asking BIll to chuck me off this platform.
So very predictable.
Have a nice day wherever you are, mate.
I hope it goes well for you and yours.
I don't know you but I still feel sad for you.
Be cool.
I'm not sure what you mean...do you mean like the anti-Trump stuff that came before, starting from de Niro forwards. Maybe even before that....'there'll never be a Trump presidency, hahaha'....or 'basket of deplorables'....or Hitler or Nazi or Grifter-in-Chief.......you mean that sort of thing?
Or do you mean the media baking the bullshit into the cake starting in Biden's basement and social media doing the gas torch caramelisation of the sugar on top?
The fact is that, sophomoric or not, it has become something symbolic to millions of people all over the world that perfectly illustrates a lot of what they see and experience as being wrong in the world today, and Joe Biden is the figurehead symbol of all that that results in.
80-million votes, the most popular president in history...yeh right.
"Let's go, Brandon!"
You nailed it...it has as much to do with Biden as it does with the ....depraved is the word I keep coming up with but I am not sure that it is the right word.... media, both legacy and digital, desperately trying to prop the old codger up, as they did from the beginning of his candidacy.
Except with this example the obvious desperation and and dishonesty are plain to see.
It's a perfect example of the media making up bullshit to fit their narrative, and suggests the question 'what else are they or have they been lying about?'
2020 election results, vaccine, Ivermectin....even matters dating from before the 2020 elections......Biden latest poll results....who knows?
Whatever, it's now being chanted by crowds in Rome, Melbourne, Paris......your super-Presidential guy and your country are basically the laughing stock of the world.....you'll get the picture if you let yourself think about it.
Facediapers, I mean masks, printed "Let's go, Brandon!"....coming soon to a store near you. Oh, perhaps not, because shelves are bare and stuff......but you get the drift.
If so, it's only on the origin, and maybe what it means to him and whatever block sign on to it. I can see where there is some element of the mixing of the anti-president and anti-media sentiment that I hadn't picked up. But it's really just a unifying meme that the 'in group' thinks is clever. I think you are giving far too much credit to how much thought went into the symbolism. It's a viral meme, Much like Cheetolini and the others that preceded it on the other side.
I'm not the elitist that K thinks I am regardless of which sports I follow (you follow GP racing, where does that put you on the might be an elitist scale?). I do think this particular meme is interesting in that it tries to make nice the sentiment of 'fuck Joe Biden', when there hasn't been much pulling of rhetoric anywhere else - and I'm sure it wasn't done for pleasantness. But hey, I don't have a dog in this hunt. I'm surely against most of the Trump Doctorine, but not really a fan of the Democrat platform or process so far either. It all just looks like another step in the march to the end to me. So I'll not be rooting for either team to go farther down this road.
You don't think it's clever because it comes from the NASCAR right, kinda like people who regularly read the NYT don't detect a leftish bias in it. Eh. And just because it's an accidental gift from the media doesn't mean picking up on it shows no thought. Without its origin it would make no sense at all. It's not so much a witty retort as a gaffe flung back, like (as NPR pointed out this morning} people attaching covfefe to everything Trump.
As for my elite status...MotoGP ranks closer to corn dog than Grey Poupon in Yurp, where it's actually popular. It's sort of the NASCAR of Yurp. In the states it's pretty esoteric, like being a fan of show jumping or AKC agility, but I'd put it between F1 and sailboat racing elitism-wise. On the Budmilob-wine snob scale I'd rate it about brewpub.
First off, any direct contact islander has with me is only to troll me. He has no interest in any discussion with me. He just does it to browbeat me. There is no honorable intent present, ever. Period, end of story.
What you call browbeat is what I call setting the record straight. I respond to your nonsense when I feel it needs correcting. Feel free to keep posting it though, but if it's nonsense I'm sure I'm not the only one that will call you out on it.
Ironic that probably the most anti-postmodern poster on these pages has such an astute analysis of the hermaneutics of the phrase.
