This might be the OCD talking, but sometimes I find myself remembering the feeling I used to have walking back up to the stairs at the radio station after I'd gone out for a smoke. (What, you thought we played the SEVEN MINUTE Love and Rockets song so much because we liked it so much?) I'd be walking back up the stairs and start to panic: did I lock myself out when I went out for a smoke? Well, obviously I didn't since I'm walking back up the freakin' stairs now! Only a crazy person would still worry about something that didn't need to be worried about? Ten years later? Am I crazy after all? Did I lock myself out? Oh, no, whew, I'm on the stairs.
