Spencer West Climbs Kilimanjaro Remarkable enough on its own, but when you factor in that he has no legs... I know the article says he's Canadian, but the guy was actually born in Rock Springs, WY.

This entire state is a small town. Odds are pretty good that if someone is from here, you know them or you know someone who knows them. Alex lived on the same dormitory floor as hiccup and I did our freshman year of college. Oddly enough, his older brother lived on the same floor as us our sophomore year. Odder still, mostly what I remember about his brother was that he was the drum major of the marching band and he could belch louder than anyone on the face of the earth.
