I thought I should mention it, as it might be my last, if BillG can't save the station from the royalty people.

oldviolin wrote: Actually I'm not quite sure of that at all. Oh sometimes I get inklings or severe headaches, but for the most part I'm just fumbling toward ecstasy just like everyone else; the fleshly confines you see. I've been betrothed and bemused, cut apart and reused. None of it seems to matter to a thorn bush or a songbird; haven't you heard? I've missed you my friend. It helps to have that other voice at the door, come and sleep on my floor, and rest your weary sand; an open book, a heartfelt and strong hand. The glass, the hours, the dormant powers, the floating spectacle oblivious to time; the fleeting rhyme...
So here it is my 10th also. I suppose I rate a few dislikes here, and well deserved I guess. I'm not here to impress. Dirt can only be ground so far down before it's dust. All else will rust. I love Radio Paradise with all my broken heart. The people, the place, the wondrous musical face. I realize that I'm somewhat cut off. I realize that it is my own undoing, my own rules; the threads of spools. There is perfection in this collection, this imperfection called strife. Let it always emit life.
I've tried to share a bit of who I am on the inside here. I waver with pain sometimes. I'm often conflicted and In God's eye in the sky I thrash and I ply and most often I beg him to differ. But, my friend, and my friends and detractors alike; you will have me by your side in the realm of denial, in the wretched danger, away in that manger. Not a boy is born without a plan. Not a poem is written. Not an empty man. On the floor and well within the sound of knocks at the sight of the door...Today I was with him in Paradise.
Press Send.
Happy you here, my friend.

Thanks, Bill & Rebecca, for creating the most compelling music site I've ever experienced. RP continues to be a daily fixture in my life, hopefully for years to come. Thanks for all the new artists you've introduced into my musical landscape.
A bit of a long, strange trip indeed, but one I wouldn't trade for anything.

Can't say enough how great this experience has been with all the people I have gotten to know and meet along the way. The music has changed so much since then, but what hasn't. RP has exposed me to so much new music I never would have known without it, not to mention the intellectual enrichment from just being here with all you RPeeps. Thanks B & R for taking a chance and putting your heart and soul into this wonderful enterprise. I'm a better person for it.
