European nettle extract, available in capsule form from your friendly neighborhood supplement source. Allergies alleviated in a half hour. Bing! Done.

Similar problem for me, and Zyrtec is about the only antihistamine I can take. The non drowsy Sudafed Actifed, etc., keep me awake at night. Benedryl lets me sleep, but causes other problems - ask HJ in about 10 years. Zyrtec is intended to be taken one pill a day, so I take it just before bed so it helps me get to sleep and guarantees a clear nose and throat through the night.

sniffle snuffle. The choice seems to be zirtek, which is very effective but makes me extremely zombie like or loratadine which is less effective but leaves energy levels intact.

I know that some allergies can be serious and life-threatening. Give the naturalistic method a try if you can and see if it works. If you get so bad that you can't stand it then, of course, see a doctor for a chemical solution.

I lived with allergies for years and then I tried the natural solution. I admit that I was in absolute Hell for two pollen seasons. Since then I've had no allergic reaction to pollen at all.

I also broke an allergy to wool by forcing myself to wear a wool cap. I had a rash at the hairline for months and then one day it just stopped. I've been able to war wool without a reaction ever since.
