has has set him up with a nice warm dry place to sleep on cold/rainy nights.

This guy is a lap sitter, friendly and WANTS TO BE INSIDE. It'd be a shame for him to not be with people this winter. He's got a lot to share.

If he winds up needing a warm home for the winter and you can't get him adopted, do what I did for one lucky stray in our neighborhood... I covered the inside of a covered cat pan with thick cotton batting, wrapped the outside in lawn and leaf bags, made a multi-layered bed in the bottom half of it, and glued a drape of heavy fabric over the opening. Then I placed the whole thing right up against the house on the porch, with the opening facing the house so it was out of the wind. It was cozy and warm for him until I was able to find him a good home.

He's a little sweetie, and he came to the right folks for help.

I got THIS close and he didn't wake up. He's totally mellow, and needs a home. We're so lucky, the woman who'd fostered Spalt and gave her to us has a foundation that will pay for his spay and shots and will support a foster home with a stipend AND food/litter til he's adopted.

What a lucky lil sweet boy. Now we have to find him a home.....

Our cats have escalated their protestations of their continued displeasure of the last brand of cat food we got them. They both came in yesterday afternoon and carried out 2 coordinated terrorist throw up attacks on both of us. I was hunkered down in my FFL war room for my usual NFL Sunday afternoon and Eddie proceeded to barf all over the bed and then went down to my night stand with all bills and paperwork and continued the barf attack down there.  After we got all of that cleaned out, changed the sheets etc. our other cat did a barf attack on my wifes personal area in the living room!  The forensics team found evidence that they had actually raided somebody else's canned food (we had not fed them any canned food this whole weekend) ate it up and then gave us a graphical illustation of what they had done and what we were doing incorrectly.
