My list of things I claim are not taste related but completely off putting by texture:

Oysters on the half shell....can't even get myself to taste them but I love smoked ones!

Lox....just yuck. Love cooked salmon but just can't do lox or cold shrimp for that matter.

Cooked apples.....gag

Cooked mushrooms....seriously? They are slimy and absolutely disgusting. Raw ones I can't do either. Hellooooooooo its fungus!

Pomegranate...I love em but cutting them open and revealing how one harvests the fruit? Blech it looks like a damn beehive to me! Just unappetizing.

That's my short list.....lol I knew y'all were dying to know!

minor food texture issue... practically all mass produced hummus is processed down to a fine paste spread like i make my own quite a bit and i'll process down to a point where there is still some "chunk" leave some beans/peas, cilantro, red pepper, nuts, jalapenos, etc., whatever, in tact if peanut butter can be smooth or chunky, why not hummus?

Today, I had a bowl of Pho with beef brisket and tendon for lunch. This place does melt-in-your-mouth tendon. Yeah, it's an "acquired taste."
