Did a tasting of this hard cider label yesterday, after paddling (and after some peach ice cream). This particular "vintage" was really yummy. Dry, almost champagne like. Some of the other varieties, especially the seasonal, peach one, were quite tasty too, but I brought this home with me.

I would love to sample some made-in-Texas bourbon.  Probably not available here.

I stand corrected.

I thought bourbon had to be distilled in Kentucky....

Haven't been drinking much recently, but sipping 18 yo Glenn Fiddich while watching le Tour last night was very nice. Maybe that's why I fell asleep.

I'm on duty until we hit the dock. Once we are secure, I would appreciate some haste when you take that extra cold one out of the fridge for me.

Jim Beam fire destroys 45,000 barrels, releases bourbon into Kentucky River

What an unbelievable tragic loss.  Worthy of a national day of mourning?

Hendrick's Gin
My brother-in-law bought me this. Given the swill I normally drink, this was too "smoky" for me... until I put in the freezer and then I was sad when I ran out!!!
