Aside from writing hundreds of jingles, Holmes also sang very many of them, including "be all you can be", "raise your hand if you're Sure", and one of my favorites "Schaefer city".  You'd probably recognize his voice if you heard it.

I'd forgotten about this nugget from Jake Holmes, who primarily made a living writing hundreds of commercial jingles.  However, while working as a singer/songwriter, he apparently wrote "Dazed & Confused" and released it on an album in 1967, but was never credited for it by Jimmy Page.
