I don't often head over to the song ratings/comments anymore, but today I ended up there. To my surprise, maybe the most aggressive/amusing comments I've read belong to Natalie Merchant's Motherland. Even William throws down.

What is also kind of funny about Tucker's eulogising on Russian supermarkets is that he is actually praising German technology here. Indeed. Very unfortunate that a voice like Tucker's, with so much reach, seems quite willing to compromise journalistic integrity to drive a curious narrative that Russia isn't as bad as its made out to be. Russia's neighbours know the truth. The North American audience needs to wake TF up and stiffen their collective backbone. Of course, here in Canada, we have the jellyfish spine known as Trudeau, and that probably won't change for at least another year.

when fresh peeps from poorer climes hit town, the local sponsors love to take them to a supermarket or walmart to see the reaction
my guess is that this is becoming more scarce since the living standards are generally increasing across the globe
poverty be damned...
