Game MVP ! The Golden State Aussie, Bogut, is a gritty player, too and there was some stuff going on between the two. Our guy, Delly rocked and kept Curry, the reigning NBA MVP to a piss poor evening. Delly has been the intangible asset that has helped Cleveland keep alive throughout the playoffs. Cleveland's defense has been awesome. 95 - 93 final score in overtime ! Very low scoring game, It was like 62 - 61 after 3 quarters. 87 -87 at the end of regulation. First time ever the first two games in the finals went into overtime. Very emotional game.

Come to find out, the assistant coach who taught it to the team came by it honestly... he's from NZ and grew up with it. Or something. So yes I just stirred that pot There can be a fine line between respect and cultural appropriation but if you can get a bunch of football players to learn something about other cultures, it seems like a good thing to me. And it has to be a good way to get pumped up for a game.

Yep, just woke up from my nap listening to our local 50k station and they were discussing it. They even bumped Rush for the rest of the day to cover it. They read the letter / statement that LeBron wrote. If sincere, it was a humble letter recognizing his and everyone else's 'mistakes'. Personally, I didn't want him to come back, but the content of the letter has changed my mind enough to go to neutral on the matter. Its hard to be sympathetic to an uber rich athlete who took the money and ran out of town the way he did. But we'll see. Cleveland is a tough sports town and he will have to deliver the goods. Not a ring necessarily, but the meaning of his letter. It'll be interesting to listen to how its digested here over the weekend.

And UCONN barely survived St. Joe. The Atlantic 10 might have been the deepest conference in the country this year. Dayton showed how tough it was.

Huskies were the proverbial hot team that came out of nowhere to win it all. KY was a lower seed, but with the talent there, it would nolt have been a complete susrprise if they got it together for the tournament — which they did — and won it all. Few would have picked UCONN to win it all. Amazing run by Wildcats — beating Wichita State, Louisville, Michigan, and Wisconsin, all in close games. Very, very hard road.
