Yea, verily.  We've more or less given up on concerts for this very reason.  I almost got into a fight 10 years ago at a Clapton concert (not quiet by any means to begin with) with a couple of guys sitting behind us when we were moved into the compted seats after Patty's chair literally broke and fell through to the floor.  They were nearly shouting at each other so that they could hear themselves.  I nicely told them could they please knock it off so we could enjoy the concert.  One of the guys said, what you complaining about, you didn't pay for these seats.  I replied, oh yes we did, so knock it off !  Might have been closer to STFU, I don't remember the exact words anymore.

But, we're pretty much done.  Its only gotten worse since then.
