This woman's a grandmother, though, so I kind of have to give her a pass on the "everything on the internet is true" thing, but Jesus Christ it isn't like dachshund is an obscure word. How the hell do you live 60 years on this planet without seeing the word at least once and thinking "that's a funny word. wonder what it means?" She kept trying to tell me that word was "dash-hound" and the woman was selling dotsons (you know-it-all asshole *implied*).

Ooh! But then again this is the same woman (in charge of classified ads) who listed a "cheverlay." She told the guy she'd put it under "livestock" because she thought he was trying to sell a charolais cow. Chev-Ro-fucking-Lay. I know you've heard of it. Largest-selling automobile in the history of planet earth? Okay but the cheese tastes like Pennzoil.
