I wonder, idly, whether this band has played in the Spanish city of León, and how it was received by the crowd. Or in Lyons in France...

At least on this number the singer doesn't sound like he's straining to get a big job out, as he so often is on numbers from previous albums. Tolerable, but disnae linger long in the memory.

There are great bands out there that simply have a singer whose voice is unlistenable to me.  Unfortunately, Kings of Leon are one of those bands.

Something about his voice in this reminds me of Peter Gabriel - that "squeaky cracked voice" thing...
