Funny time to have the "drug" set of songs (Rolling Stones - Sister Morphine, now this) - my partner at work just got up to go to a "drug free workplace" seminar; he'll be back at 2pm. And I was thinking he said "I'll be back at 2, gotta go do some drugs."

BTW Hayduke, the reference was good, especially since Bill was following the Rolling Stones (read "The greatest Drunk on Earth and Andre the giant)" down about 3 paragraphs, for background. Even Bill isn't prescient enough to have figured out THAT segue! Is he?

Edit: It is not in fact, I was surprised to learn, a Ray Charles song, though his version was a bigger hit:

I think this tour opened in Detroit if not it did roll thru and no I didn't see it but heard the ads on the radio

RIP Joe...
Singer Joe Cocker has died at the age of 70, the Yorkshire Post reports. The Sheffield-born singer died at his home in Colorado, where he had been quietly battling lung cancer for years. In the U.S., Cocker was most famous for his cover of the Beatles' "With a Little Help From My Friends," as well as the shambling dance steps that inspired a Saturday Night Liveparody from John Belushi.
